I did a bit of research and found out that there was a separate Mason group created called Prince Hall but they don't restrict black people from joining the Blue Lodge the main one. It all just depends on the location. There are a bunch of mixed Lodges here in New York but I bet like somewhere in the south in might be different.

Yeah, I think there's two different lodges. One split from the other over letting black people in, so there's one that does and one that doesn't.
And I can understand not letting women in. I went to an all boys boarding school, and it's just an entirely different environment with no girls. I know **** all about the masons, but I imagine that if they have a certain atmosphere there, then allowing women could very well change it. Not saying that I would want to join some "ol' boys club", but I can appreciate why they might not want women.
