While not as jazz-filled as your post, they are definitely one of the first bands that I heard that took such disparate sounding genres and combined them into something very interesting.
A minor memo here: I'm not one for black metal vocals (just a personal preference), but I love the music on this and how it switches and morphs into totally different styles...and I really like those little sound flourishes of an electric piano melody here and even wind chimes there. I don't feel qualified to comment on what the influences might be, but it'll be interesting to read what others have to say. I'll definitely be looking up more of Sigh's music.
