This so much this, its a game thay left such a impact that no other game could come close to for me.

CT had multiple timelines which each had their own story. FF VI had the regular world and the destroyed world. VI also had a much more open ended storyline, it let you kind lf do your own thing. CT while linear went more in to detail and had better characters. The characters and story are way more memorable for me. The soundtrack to Trigger is also incredible.
Breath of fire series is great and I agree its under rated. Ive been playing 2 recently actually haha.
