well yea i am implying that, i also recall of hearing stories about nuns having sex with farm animals back in the day and i think those acts come from the sexual repression in their doctrines.
and no i don't really have numbers to back this claim up, Im just going by human nature, celibacy is not for everyone, when you repress sexual feelings they comeback tenfold. they have to be released in some discrete way if you are taught to be ashamed of them.
And given the circumstances where a priest has easy access to children but not women it makes pedophilia a discrete alternative to let out those repressed sexual urges.
Im not saying their doctrines are breeding pedos but i think they see it as a loophole.
This is just my personal opinion though.
