Does it work for you?
We went over aggression and coping strategies in my Psych class a few weeks ago and the research suggested that taking out one's anger on a punching bag or something similar is actually counter-productive, but I'm a proponent of encouraging whatever works for each specific case rather than making generalizations based on studies so I'm curious to hear how it ends up helping/not helping.
