I didn't say anything about them being happy or not living traditional gender roles but to force and pigeon hold people and expect them to live their life that way is what I'm calling cavemen like.

It's an old outdated mentality and it's kind of sad when people pass it on to their kids instead of letting their kids decide how they want to be as a person. There are people that are perfectly fine living like they are in the 50s with the way that they think about gender roles.

I know it isn't my place though to tell people how they should raise their own children. I am just commenting on how it's kind of sad to tell someone they can't do something just because "boys/girls aren't supposed to do that."
