Not at all. It was a tragedy that Andrew Woods died, but at the same time, it was this very sad thing that ads to the bands mystique. They were so far ahead of their time, I can't think of another band that combined glam and grunge so eloquently if at all.

Mother Love Bone were truly unique and Andrew Woods was a better vocalist than Eddie Vedder or Chris Cornell for that matter.

I don't say this lightly because I was a huge Soundgarden fan and I also really liked Pearl Jam's first Album, but there was just something magical about Andrew's voice. Had they continued, I think they would have lost that magic.
