And of course this is where we immediately get into the part of the argument I mentioned before, where someone doesn't necessarily understand your position, but you still enter into a debate with them where you do nothing but belittle them and their lack of knowledge. In so doing, convincing nobody of anything, and only solidifying that person's opposition of your position.
You've literally just actively prevented Batlord from taking any part of your argument from this point on seriously, and encouraged him to be defensive and reject your ideas of gender identity in their entirety.
He has obviously learned so much from this.
