The Saturday Six Pack thread gave me the idea that this would be a good thread idea. I will start with my favorite tiny town on an exquisite little stretch of Pacific coast,
Cannon Beach, OR.
First of all, the town itself is just a lovely, lovely little place
The beach itself is also resplendent, but what separates it from other beaches is monolithic
Haystack Rock, especially at low tide
Then there's spectacular vistas at nearby Ecola State Park
I really really miss that place. It is one of the few consistently pleasant memories of my youth.
