I did the same but in college. But I have Endometriosis and chronic pain syndrome so I had a reason to be on it. Just started taking higher and higher doses and used it when I wasn't in pain. I ended up on 400mg+ a day and could have overdosed if I didn't stop but got on another opiate that's not addictive to help my pain. I had a seizure from being on 3 different opiates in large quantities after my surgery so the warning bells went off.
I don't drink much, don't do recreational drugs but just the occasional cough syrup or sleeping pills trip.
