If you play in a successful band, then you're skilled, and I'm sorry to say but you must be a fucking moron to think otherwise. Maybe they might not be some innovative mastermind genius on whatever they play, but they can attract a crowd and sell records, and that takes skill if you ask me. Even all these mainstream/radio/pop/whatever acts that you'd call "soulless" or "uninspired" or that are marketed just to bring in money, they're still skilled, and you can't say they're not just because you don't like them. The Metallicas and Nickelbacks of the world all have band members that are skilled at their respective positions, and truth be told, there's a good chance they're all better than anyone and everyone here. What room do you have to talk? Let's see you sell out arenas worldwide, year after year.
I imagine that is an unpopular opinion.
