This. Emphasis on having something to do and somewhere nice to do it. The thing with mushrooms is that they're basically extreme sensory amplifiers, everything you experience hits you so much harder. In smaller doses (~2 grams) you're not likely to hallucinate much but something as simple as staring at raindrops on a window can become an overwhelmingly beautiful moment. With larger doses (~4 grams and above) it gets to the point where your environment becomes very flexible, everything in your vicinity is subject to change depending on your emotional state, that can be beautiful and fantastic or unimaginably horrifying. Your hallucinations depend entirely on your mood and setting, and remember that hallucinations are full body, not just visual. Your thoughts, your vision, what you hear, what you feel, how you perceive the people around you, it's all very liquid. If the weather outside is decent, and you have somewhere safe to explore, like your backyard or somewhere that isn't infested with cops, definitely seize that opportunity. Being outside is very preferable with mushrooms since it's much softer on your senses, the wind, the soft grass, the natural light, the changing sky, it all helps keep your mind away from thoughts that may spin out of control and ruin the experience.
