no, live in a house and i have a decent sized yard. usually when i let them out i put them on a 25 foot chain. but i do let them out to run every so often, it's just i don't have a fence so usually when i do this they end up running off and i have to chase them down and bring them back in the house. so this gets tiring which prevents me from letting them run as much as i'd like.

it seems like the main source of them barking is any time the see a person or another dog outside through the window
