I tried em on my PRS, and yuck. Didn't like it at all, and the lighter string tension screwed with the neck a bit. They pretty much ruined my tone too. The brightness is a bit much, and can muddy up my mix (from what I'm used to anyway). Here's an example:

Elixirs are aesthetically great for acoustics though, that's a fact.
