Yeah I caught that, however I was tangentially aware of who John Munch was from that
X-Files episode where he interrogates the Lone Gunmen. So by extension,
The Wire and
The X-Files take place in the same universe. I can just imagine SA Fitzhugh sitting with McNulty apologetically saying that they can't help to take down a drug kingpin because bureau money is caught up with these to agents who hunt down UFOs.
