Disagree - sort of. While that was a big part of the undertone to the show, the humor and drama was all about the human interactions between very different personalities forced to co-exist and function at a very high level within a small confined bubble. I use to watch it in real time religiously during it's first run, and watched the reruns countless times. One of the very few shows that could make you gut laugh in one instance and then shed tears minutes later.
