Don't like milkshakes. Don't even like milk. Also: time was of the essence.
Also: leave me the **** alone! It was a poxy tub of ice cream, not a newborn foetus for god's sake!

I'd have been more accepting if it was a newborn...

Analysis: Sarcasm. I don't actually value life over ice cream.

Like's ice cream (actually, debatable based on the recent revelations exposed via IceCreamGate), but doesn't like a drink composed of mostly ice cream.

Does not compute.

First of all, wtf you don't like milkshakes wtf is wrong with you?

Secondly, fetus: baby:: magma: lava. Newborn fetus therefore impossible.

Milkshakes
Caddyshack
Animal House
Mash
Office Space

Yet can wax poetically for 10,000 words about the most obscure episode of Deep Space 9 ever.

Just... wrong. I guess I can understand Europeans not liking M*A*S*H, since its humor was highly dependent on an American POV about war that was largely informed by the feelings about the Vietnam War. A lot of Americans actually don't like it either, I guess because it also relied on legitimately intelligent drama, which might turn off someone looking for a less cerebral sitcom -- not to mention the age gap when it comes to humor.

Seriously though, as far as intelligent comedies go, it's right up there with the smartest sitcoms of the modern era, and it was in an time when that kind of humor just wasn't on TV (at least to my knowledge).

Disagree - sort of. While that was a big part of the undertone to the show, the humor and drama was all about the human interactions between very different personalities forced to co-exist and function at a very high level within a small confined bubble. I use to watch it in real time religiously during it's first run, and watched the reruns countless times. One of the very few shows that could make you gut laugh in one instance and then shed tears minutes later.

This week can fuck right off. I found out my car registration was due this week by happenstance because the DMV never bothered to send out a reminder to me, and then my car failed smog because of something wrong with my OBD2 port in the car. I made an appointment on Tuesday with my mechanic but he had to bump me back until Friday, and then the guy who fixes these things called in sick today. Now I have to wait until Monday, which coincidentally is the same day I need to go up to my old community college to talk to an adviser about transferring to big boy college.

This week has just been a whole lot of hurry up and wait.
