But even more than that, as much as I don't want America to be propping up corrupt governments in Afghanistan, we are at the moment, and if I sit at home, letting people like my friends fight my literal battles for me -- whether I agree with those battles or not -- then I can't in good conscience say, "Alright, you can go risk your life, but I'd feel guilty about it if you did this to minimize that risk.
