It makes more sense but I think I need to stress the fact that American media is LITERALLY THE WORST. It's a giant turd. You can't base your ideals on the actions of a bunch of bigots and monkeys pressing buttons. It's like not liking Japanese people because you watched Pearl Harbor with Ben Affleck.

i should add that i very strongly believe in anti-nationalism and anti-militarism so yeah, nothing against your friend but militaries in general sicken me, whether they are american or any other nationality.

Yes. I've gotten ****-faced and passed out in his computer chair. I have not done so with any Pakistani civilians. But even more than that, as much as I don't want America to be propping up corrupt governments in Afghanistan, we are at the moment, and if I sit at home, letting people like my friends fight my literal battles for me -- whether I agree with those battles or not -- then I can't in good conscience say, "Alright, you can go risk your life, but I'd feel guilty about it if you did this to minimize that risk. So... good luck with not dying, brosef."
