How many songs does Ke$ha have an her albums that are about the same things? I'd bet the majority of them, and all that tells me is she can't have any new ideas to write about, so she writes about the same crap and that's boring. At least Linkin Park writes about a much wider variety of topics, not just a few topics. Not only is what Ke$ha writes about done over and over on her albums, but it shows a lack creatively when it comes to writing lyrics. Yeah. A band or an artists doesn't have to be the best lyricist to have good music, but Ke$ha and her lyrics just aren't any good man, or her music in general.
Shouldn't we debate Ke$ha in your thread haha?

Ke$ha's lyrics convey a cohesive persona for the most part that is actually quite distinct from her contemporaries. Since that's all she's really trying to do, then you could actually say that her lyrics are good concerning their intent. If your barometer for good lyrics is expressing profound statements of whatever, then yeah, you're not going to like her lyrics, but since that's not her intent, you can't judge her by that criteria if you're going to say that her lyrics are "bad" in any way that isn't entirely down to your own subjective preference for lyrical style.
