That right there made me love you +5. So many on this site are elitist plebes who can't get over their expectations of what a "good" band should sound like to appreciate the anti-brilliance of Manowar. Once you review that Bathory album I'll be rec'ing you some Manowar. They're like ICP in that they're an embarrassment to the fans of their respective genres, but Manowar actually had a period where they were a genuinely creative band who had a sound that was original and not
just a self-parody (though at no point in their career were they not cheesier than Gouda).
Think of them like a lowest-common denominator version of Judas Priest. And just like ICP many of their fans are morons who don't get how goofy they are (and it's questionable just how much the band itself understands this), but they also have a fanbase who understands this, but love them
because of how hilariously ****ty they are (they're quite possibly my favorite band of all time).
In the meantime enjoy one of my favorite metal songs of all-time...
