Nope, I honestly can say I have not heard a bad word about the band, Eagles, as a whole or the music from friends, and people I know irl. I have seen some less than positive statements about band members online, but again not about the band as a whole or the music. And I am excluding conspiracy theorists who go on about
Hotel California, since I can't recall them saying the song wasn't any good. They were not critiquing the song musically, and evaluating the song as good or bad. They were just using the lyrics as a basis for their conspiracy theories.
Elvis, The Beatles, the Stones, Led Zeppelin, Billy Joel, David Bowie, Rush, Stevie Ray Vaughn, U2
etc etc I've heard or read criticism about them, on the boards or elsewhere.
Oh yeah ELP. I seen them slammed to death -- I almost forgot about that. But can't recall a bad word about Eagles.
