I like those groups that you've mentioned, but I think that This Heat, The Pop Group, PIL and The Fall are the best post punk artists I've heard. So I guess looking at the trend of what I listen to, I prefer the older stuff, although "used up" is not a way that I'd like to phrase it. One of my favourites is Old Time Relijun and they're 2000s, so there's that I guess, even if it calls back to the no wave scene.
