I have to agree that they were an 80's band. Appetite is their highest selling album, as well as the highest selling debut album in the world. Sweet Child of Mine is considered to be one of the all-time greatest rock songs ever, same list as other amazing hits like Teen Spirit or Stairway to Heaven. Plus, it's often agreed on that their best album was Appetite. As for their 90's works, they were often iffy. UYI2 might be a hit album, but it never came close to the acclaim of Appetite.
