Considering how mind-bogglingly complex the issue of the creation of life, the universe, and everything actually is, it's presumptuous to assume that we can draw such definitive conclusions about it (i.e. that it's impossible without a deity-creator). I don't know the answer to how existence and time came to be, and I'm sure that modern science also cannot make any definitive claims, but we're not concerned with coming up with the answers RIGHT ****ING NOW. We're just trying to do what we can to increase our knowledge until hopefully we might be able to solve the problem one day. And until then, we are willing to settle for temporary ignorance.
