I don't think it should be based on race. I also think that calling it "free college" is incredibly misleading. Do you consider police, roads, and government services like the DMV to be free too? Because they are not.

Yes, and the government takes money from our checks every single time to keep those up. You can't just go raising taxes all willy nilly and expect nothing bad to happen, especially when you're doing so for a cause that would result in the morons worshipping Trump to all but riot.
Even if it's a good idea it's still politically untenable.
