I can't really play most JRPG's either. The only one's I really like going back to are Shadowhearts 2 and 3.
Mid 90's games like Eye of the Beholder, Lands of Lore and Dungeon Master 2 are more my cup of tea. Plus the Realms of Arkania games, but they were turn based strategy combat.
I played Blue Dragon some years back. Charming characters, but the repetitive gameplay melted my brain until I just had to quit.
