It was cool in the 80's.....
No commercials, no people talking to introduce music videos, no stupid tv shows, it was like how internet radio is now, except only music videos, and a phone number would flash on the screen during videos so you could call in and request your favorite music videos.
Though many years later, we all found out only certain music was allowed to be played, so they were dictating what people could listen to.
