well really, christianity, judaism and islam all have their bithplace in the same city, jerusalem. Considering how all three religions pretty much branched off of the same group of people, it makes perfect sense. It's unfortunate, given the history of wars between all of the groups, because after all the wars and conflicts, its impossible for either side to look at it through the other's point of view.
