except in their minds, the land was just as much theirs as the arabs. Before the zionist movement, the arabs lived in backwards hellholes with no medical or technological advancement. The arab fellaheen exploited the lower class arabs terribly. In a lot of ways, the jews coming to palestine from europe in the early 1900's greatly improved the arab's situations. by the time WWII rolled around, there were almost as many legally attained and established jewish settlements as there were arab settlements, so how can you say the jews had "no right" being in palestine?
