I guess my biggest problem is that it tries to sludge, but holds back to give the more melodic material room to breathe, which makes the heavier aspects lame as ****. This creates a middling atmosphere that still somehow suffocates any of the more eclectic influences, leading to what I'd imagine isn't a million miles away from what I'd expect from pansy indie dweebs trying to make a metal album with the Melvins as their unwilling guide.
Also, the songs are too ****ing long and do nothing to justify their length.
tl;dr: this album is tedious bull****
