beneath the storm
so this is reconciliation,
for past wrongs by one once loved,
to drift apathetically
into the familiar, the reproduced.
does it seem uncanny, the resemblence
to where you've been before,
lest you forget the dissonence
of loving beneath the storm.
love couldn't fix it,
hope's crashed and burned,
faith's beyond you're inhibitions,
listless, fallen, blackened.
couldn't live without the abuse,
its become a comfort in unsure times
famliarity breeds sanity,
sanity's becoming a choking fume,
the clouds advance,
breathe deep, my sweet.
