For example The Clash were the band of the 70s and in 1980 they were at the fore breaking new boundaries, they went commercial in 1982. By '85 they they lost their knack and released a dead grotty album which incidentally coincided with beginning of Post-Hardcore. The best album Genesis released in the 80s was an eponymous album simply called "Genesis." By the time the Grunge era crash landing on take-off Genesis was releasing commercialize bologna. Shame on R.E.M. for witting Shiny Happy People. They released it 1991. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. nuff said.
Duke pisses all over that.
