What in tarnation?!! There are people who hate Kate Bush? (I do recall a time where Waking the Witch came on shuffle when I was with a friend and it was VERY loud and they looked VERY uncomfortable and asked to change it) I've noticed that too, though, regarding others' lower tolerance for weird female versus male vocalists. Bush has SUCH a lovely voice, though, even when she's wailing hysterically. Whereas I can understand those who have a limited tolerance for, say, Nico or Diamanda Galas.
