I would recommend going into The Witch blind because the trailer is a poor representation.

Usually what happens is that people try to make me watch some supposedly brilliant horror movie, then I cave in and watch it, then I inevitably hate it and they feel disappointed. My brother has a ton of horror movies but stopped bothering recommending any years go.
