Honestly I think just walking is good for your mood if you're the type to just lose yourself in your thoughts. The physical activity, even such a low-level physical activity, allows you to kind of focus your scattershot brain while still losing yourself in it in a much more constructive way than if you're just lying in bed at night staring at the ceiling.
I wish I didn't despise running so much, as so many members of my family love it and it has a major impact on their depressive tendencies. TBH many of those members are also kind of the biggest ****s who have the ****tiest opinions, but I guess it might be even worse if they were left to stew in their random thoughts.
