A common misconception among non-cenobites.

Nothing is as misconceived as I and therefore I triumph over your conceptions.

I spent all day inside the last two days because of depression issues. I finally get enough motivation to go out and hike all day before work and it's f*cking raining. Oh well.

Did you brave the rain? Your answer will forever decide my opinion of you, no pressure.

i hear ya dude. sometimes the smallest things make the biggest differences though. i dragged my ass out for a walk late last night and really enjoyed the silence of the park in the darkness. it's funny how being alone with your thoughts inside can be torture but being alone with your thoughts in nature is one of the best experiences you can have.

Honestly I think just walking is good for your mood if you're the type to just lose yourself in your thoughts. The physical activity, even such a low-level physical activity, allows you to kind of focus your scattershot brain while still losing yourself in it in a much more constructive way than if you're just lying in bed at night staring at the ceiling.

I wish I didn't despise running so much, as so many members of my family love it and it has a major impact on their depressive tendencies. TBH many of those members are also kind of the biggest ****s who have the ****tiest opinions, but I guess it might be even worse if they were left to stew in their random thoughts.

Bleh. Every time I start running all I can think of his how long I have to run until I get to stop running. And the longer I run the longer until I can quit even if I quit early. It's just a miserable practice to me.

Ride a bike. Or better yet, ride an ass.
