Satoshi Kon movies for the win. Only problem is that he died before he could make all that many. At least he made Paprika - the ultimate anime movie.

I've only seen Perfect Blue, and while it's awesome, it's no Spirited Away or Princess Mononoke. Really really need to get off my ass and watch Paprika, but I need to cop some weed first and I don't know when I'm going to do that. Hayao Miyazaki just has an instinct for children's fantasy that puts Walt Disney to shame. Even
The Secret Life of Arrietty by some other non-Miyazaki guy who aped him with Ghibli was brilliant and made me want to live any life that wasn't as boring as human life.
