If it’s about exploitation of power then it’s time, again, to consider what exploitation really is. What do people do for “a very powerful boss”?
The employee’s ENTIRE life is dictated by a schedule set by the boss. Be here at 7:30, be here at noon, do this tonight. Depressed? Parent died? Child died? Take a week. If you can’t get back in two weeks maybe we’re not a right fit. This isn’t meant for everyone. All we want from you is practically all your time and energy for your entire adult life. At the end of life what will you have done? You will have served “a very powerful boss”. Maybe I’m a broken record, but if you object to the power dynamic when it comes to sexuality you should object to the exploitation of billions of people’s entire lives. Unless people are willing to challenge the capitalist power structure at its core, I cannot take them seriously. She willingly unbuttoned her blouse once.
