They're both basically about these women to whom the dead appear, asking her to sort out some unfinished business for them before they **** off to the other side. Basically, she's like their supernatural PA I guess.
"Oh Melinda? DO make sure and tell my son where his childhood toy is buried so that he can recover it and know I love him, won't you? I simply shan't be able to enjoy the afterlife if that isn't done, there's a dear."
