The Slim Shady and Marshall Mathers LPs were great but clearly Relapse was the best
Because Eminem was always a Detroit horrorcore rapper who was vastly better than his contemporaries, but he's still a Detroit horrorcore rapper and Relapse was his only true horrorcore release. And not only that, but it was his most realized version of his Slim Shady persona, while also being a left-wing realization of his whole career that was made his most relevant because it was a metaphor for his drug frenzy (i.e. his most ****ed up personal period) and the more ****ed up he is the better he is.
And those Dre beats are just the sickest.
