I haven't heard a lot from Chula, but he seems like a guitar player with a lot of chops but some imagination and Frownland sounds like a guitar playing some chops but a lot of imagination. Frownland is filled with piss and vinegar, his playing is like one half Jägermeister one half Goldschläger - which is the recipe for a Screaming Nazi icydk. Chula's playing is egg nog without rum. Yeah it is thick and creamy and all of that but can't get a buzz from it.
