It's awful; I'll be happily chirping on and on about the disgusting life cycle of a demodex mite-- "they're always right there on your face! And then they explode feces everywhere because they don't have an anus!" And then someone will give me
that look which is very similar to the "Stop talking about ghosts/parasites/obscure mystical herbs, please" look I'm often given when eating breakfast with friends somewhere.
