I define musical talent as being able to make good music. Cringy music is not good. If your music is cringy, then you lack musical talent. A very well practiced vocalist with range (though in Lebrie's case he has painfully limited dynamics, which is vital for a vocalist) is no more talented than a well made and maintained guitar. You have to be able to apply it well for you to have talent and if your application of your instrument (voice) is cringy then that's a knock on your musical abilities.

You don't even have to look at them unless they're doing a live show and sure, I guess you could hear the cringe but at that point you're not even listening to the music. Just focusing on one thing. Seems silly to put those together.
The cringe and the music are intertwined, dude. The cringe wouldn't exist without the music. Just because you're a fanboy doesn't mean that my criticism isn't valid or informed.
