yes thats true, but its still a good excercise. If all your songs didn't rhyme at all or at least a little bit, it would sorta be wierd, well, for me anyways. Yea its true that if you just "string a bunch of lyrics together with a bunch of words that are only there because they rhyme", it wouldn't make sense and therefore the song would have no meaning, but that doesn't mean that you can't do this every once in a while to keep your rhyming skills up, and the songs not that bad. There are also some songs that rhyme perfectly and make no sense whatsoever.
