I think when they finally make true AI it will probably just replace us
Hopefully there will be a nice grace period where we get to enjoy the fruits of automation before we are rendered obsolete by our creation.

assuming they have to negotiate how much of the pie each of them gets based on their actual contribution to the project, that is basically the same model
And the scenario was one of a home owner looking to pay for a specific service for the sake of simplicity
My only point was that the one painter getting under bid and thus priced out isn't really devaluing him as a human
