Both can be tactics for publicity. Pointing at big bad ticketmaster for the cost of their tickets when PJ is still in control of 95% of the ticket costs outside of ticketmaster fees definitely has the air of a decision made for publicity. If you don't see it, you don't see it I guess.
nobody else did cut their share so they did more than anybody else. thats important for me.

now, i guess that if you wanna see publicity stants you gonna see them everywhere.



i cant convince anyone but i ll argue one more time:
if you are on top money-earning-wise as Pearl jam was in 95, you dont take risks. if you need publicity there are other less risky and painful ways to do it. so i dont see why i should be suspicious about them.
