Recognizing the influence of privilege or lack thereof on life does not mean that personal decisions are meaningless. Autofelating as if you've built the earth beneath you to get where you are is just inherently obnoxious.

In Belgium, maybe, but the echoes of slavery are still ringing in the US. Many issues here are quite clearly driven by both. Where is the Venn diagram that shows us when racism doesn't count anymore?
