I'm saying that you're essentially denying the Holocaust because you're trivializing a historical event to keep moral questions at a distance. The mechanics of denying the Holocaust and trivializing the Native American holocaust are going to be necessarily different just the same as German fascism is going to be different from American fascism but you're obscuring the forest by looking at the trees. It's still trivializing the non-in group to bolster the in-group.
