I won't try to guess your motivation behind these statements, but from over here it feels like the most callous calculation I could hear in 2020.
Only in the fiction where Obama "wasn't much different" than Trump can you excuse what's gone on in the past almost 4 years. I'm not going to rehash old arguments, but there's a level of detachment you need to have to not understand the gutting of American society that's going on here.
In my view, you can only believe Obama, Biden, Clinton, and Trump are the same when you stay on the surface and don't get into the details.
